Peter Abe, sub-Saharan Africa Managing Director
Peter most recently served as program manager for agribusiness and energy at The Corporate Council on Africa in Washington, DC. In this position, he worked with business and government leaders to increase trade and investment between the United States and the countries of Africa. Mr. Abe holds a BA in applied mathematics and quantum physics from the University of California, Berkeley and an MA in international energy and technology policy from Johns Hopkins University/SAIS.
Kyle Stelma, Emerging Markets Managing Director
Kyle has worked with CitiGroup in Mumbai performing financial consulting for Indian conglomerates and later with a management consulting firm on private equity transactions in the Middle East and South Asia. Mr. Stelma has lived and worked in Mumbai and Dubai for a number of years. Mr. Stelma holds a BS in systems engineering from the United States Military Academy and an MA in international relations and finance from Johns Hopkins University/SAIS.
Kipp Teamey, Political Insight Managing Director
Kipp has extensive experience in US domestic politics and political risk. Mr. Teamey formerly worked in the U.S. Navy, on Capitol Hill, and in the Political Affairs office in the White House for the Clinton Administration. Upon leaving government, Mr. Teamey worked in government advisory supporting Citigroup’s Public Sector Group to provide insight on federal debt securitization and the effects of federal legislation upon US markets. Mr. Teamey holds a BA in political science and an MA in public policy from Georgetown University.
Nicholas Skibiak, Director of Analytics
Nicholas has both private- and public-sector experience in economic and financial research. He previously worked as a development consultant for BearingPoint, focusing on trade facilitation in sub-Saharan Africa and Central Asia. Additionally, he has worked for the US Treasury Department and EMPEA, a private equity research group in Washington, DC, examining the development of capital markets and private-sector investment in emerging markets. Mr. Skibiak holds a BA from Yale University and an MA in international relations and economics from Johns Hopkins University/SAIS.
