Based on the popularity of the initial free product, the Dunia Iraq Market Tracker is being converted to a subscription-only service after the last free edition on June 25. Since early 2011, Dunia has produced the weekly tracker to explore what we have called the "Kurdish oil basket," an investment play focusing on public equities trading on exchanges outside of Iraq that are poised to benefit from the enormous hydrocarbon opportunities available in Iraqi Kurdistan.

The new market tracker will continue to deliver the same insightful political and economic analysis, particularly of the oil and gas industry in Iraq, but will also add coverage both of the Banking Industry and coming Telecommunications IPOs that will bring new depth, liquidity, and international interest in the Iraqi Stock Exchange. And we will continue to look for new Iraq-specific business and investment plays, analyzing how the political environment affects the business and investment climate there.

There will be two levels of subscription, the Standard Market Tracker package which continues the existing Market Tracker service for one user (email address), for $125 per month.

The Premium Market Tracker package includes the Standard Market Tracker package access for unlimited users as well as unlimited searchable archive access of all historic Market Trackers and a weekly analyst call with the Market Tracker analyst team (scheduled every Tuesday) for $500 per month.
